Lead the engineering group charged

services and network for the entire company. This included supporting the

|
(Open Range filed for Chapter 11
bankruptcy in October, 2011.)During my tenure at Open Range, our primary
goals were to enhance customer experience, develop strategies for transition
to IPv6, and institute efficient and effective processes for growth and
transition to 4G LTE environments. Open Range utilized WiMAX technology for
it's last mile to clients. The company's charter moving forward was to
implement 4G LTE in over 300 markets. The IP engineering group was
responsible for making sure we could support that project with bandwidth
capacity, AAA, manageability, resiliency while supporting existing clients
and transitioning to IPv6.The initial projects were to streamline and
document existing processes and pain-points. We implemented enhancements to document
management, revision control, and the as-build processes. I also was
responsible for solidifying contracts with our supporting vendors and
determining network changes for efficiency and performance. Key technologies
and vendors were Bridgewater AAA, WiChorus ASN(Tellabs), Cisco 7600 platform,
and 6connect for IPAM.We also consolidated 3 datacenter locations with
minimal impact to clients by performing a very structured transition working
with both our datacenter and telco vendors to manage numerous coordinated
cuts. We estimated this would save the company 10-15% of OPEX and allow for
enhancing reliability in other areas. |

Lead network architect and
Technical Operations Director. Responsible for network design, geographic
footprint, operational performance, uptime, and scalability.. |

|
I am currently charged with the
design, implementation, operational budgeting, and support of an
international storage delivery network(SDN) that distributes very large files
to Internet based organizations. In my role, I oversee all aspects of LAN/WAN
design, system support, NOC, and am the principal negotiator regarding
network contracts and services. This includes supporting infrastructures such
as server clusters, web farms, datacenters, and all networking components and
external vendor/registries. I also provide key product development direction
to support our applications concerning system throughput, function,
supportability, and reliability. Further, I provide key support to our sales
and business development with COGS and feasibility studies to make sure we
meet corporate goals for network and datacenter performance within a
multi-million dollar budget. Specifically, I have initiated system design
changes on our SDN (storage delivery network) to more than double the
throughput for our average customer just by implementing design changes. This
has enhanced revenue opportunities for the organization and dramatically
diminished support calls and costs. I have also established initiatives to
reduce our bandwidth and datacenter overhead costs by negotiating much more
favorable terms with our vendors and changing the network to be more peering
friendly. Current projects show this will save us approximately 20% of our
OPEX within the first 6 months and much higher in the following years. During
my tenure we opened domestic and international implementations servicing
Swisscom, General Electric, NBC Universal, Cisco ontime and within budget. |
